5. Outcomes and timing
The Firm's searches and opinions are professional assessments to help decision-making. They do not guarantee registration decisions or examination times at the Korean IP Office. Outcomes may vary with earlier rights, examination standards, evidence of use, and third-party responses.
Displayed periods are typical estimates. They may change due to official processing, additional information, payment confirmation, delayed client decisions, or exceptional circumstances. Important changes are communicated through notifications.
6. Generative AI assistance
Generative AI may be used to assist trademark searches and the preparation of report wording. The responsible patent attorney reviews and finalizes the legal conclusions and the reports provided to clients.
The Firm does not finalize a client's filing approach or submit materials to the authority solely on the basis of AI output. Personal information provided for analysis is limited to what is needed. Final wording sent to clients is reviewed by the responsible patent attorney.
7. Tax documents
Cash receipts are issued for cash-equivalent payments under applicable tax law. Information for income deductions or business-expense evidence may be submitted according to the payment screen or the Firm's instructions. Where issuance is legally required, receipts are issued by the prescribed method even if this information is not provided. Eligibility and procedures for tax invoices depend on the nature of the transaction and applicable law.
